Set out below are the terms and conditions that are required before we can register or renew your domain names. These have been documented to meet the requirement of Nominet.org, the main body in charge of issuing and renewing the uk domains. Please read this in full and reply confirming your acceptance of the terms and conditions.

Nominet Terms and Conditions of Domain Name Registration

Please note that the data you provide for the registration must be full and accurate and can be validated. The email address you supply/supplied must be a reliable address that we can use to contact you, otherwise when we submit the data, the registration may be rejected.

 

Customer Service:
We will to respond to all points of contact within 2 business day and aim to resolve any issues you have within 5 business days. We can be contacted during working hours on 010362 654480 or you can send an email by clicking on KAPPACONTROL.

Fees:    
As your TAG holder we will charge a bi-annual fee for each domain, this may be incorporated into a fee that includes web hosting but will be detailed along with any other fees prior to domain registration. We will notify you at least 30 days before any increase in fees are implemented.

Bi-annual charge for a single domain is £10.00 plus VAT.
Domain transfer to another TAG and closure of account is £20.00 plus VAT
Additional late renewal fee is £25.00 plus VAT

TAG changes:   
Should you wish to make any changes to your domain name, we will attempt to carry out the change within 5 days assuming we are provided with the necessary information . If you wish to move your domain to another TAG holder, the person named as the domain holder must notify us of the new TAG, and must pay the administration fee of £20 and clear any outstanding fees.

Domain Renewal, Expiry and Cancellation:         
All domains are renewed on a bi-annual basis and we will send out reminder emails at least 30 days before expiry of your domain name. If we do not hear from you we will then follow up with a telephone call, and second email informing you that the domain is due to expire. If no response is forthcoming within 5 days of sending the second email we will assume you no longer wish to keep the domain name, and will not re- register it. We will also send out an emails 14 days after the domain name has expired. All emails will be sent to the email address on your account, and it is your responsibility to make sure your contact details are up to date. Kappa Control takes no responsilbility if your domain renewal fails due to your contact details being incorrect. If you no longer wish to keep a domain name then all we require is for the registered domain name holder to notify us at least 14 days before the domain is due to expire. Domain renewal will be billed 30 days in advance of renewal.

If you do not renew your domain before its expiry date we will suspend all services relating to the domain and you will have up to 30 days (protected period) after to renew the domain name at the original renewal fee. After 30 days your domain will be suspended and will go into a 60 day grace period which you can still renew your domain name but with an additional redemption fee of £25 + VAT. This must be requested by email before the 75th day after your domain has expired. After 90 days your domain will be cancelled and deleted from the register. Kappa Control will not guarantee the renewal of a domain name.

Complaints procedure:
Details about domain name desputes and resolution procedure can be found on the nominet .org website. Should you wish to complain about any aspect of our Domain Name service please contact us using the link below outlining the detail of the complaint and we will investigate and in we will respond within 5 working days. As a customer focused company we will endeavor to resolve any disputes in a timely and professional manor. If after our initail response to the complaint you are still unstaisfied with the response please contact us again and we will seek to resolve any outstanding problems within the next 5 days.

Abuse email:
If you wish to raise a complaint about abuse you have received (phishing scams, spam emails etc) then please contact us using the KAPPACONTROL link with as much detail as you have regarding the abuse you have received. Your complaint will be investigated immediately.
